Full Stack Engineer (.Net, Azure, Kubernetes)
LorienRate: Up to £550 per day
IR35: Inside IR35
Duration: 3 months (delivery-critical, potential extension)
Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite in Glasgow
We're supporting a delivery-critical programme modernising existing .NET applications on Azure using Kubernetes (AKS). A key driver for this role is achieving a security certification within a 3-month timeframe, so we're looking for a contractor who can hit the ground running.
You'll be joining a small, experienced engineering team of three, working hands-on across application code, cloud infrastructure, containers, pipelines, and security remediation. This is not a siloed DevOps role it's a broad, delivery-focused engineering position.
What You'll Be Doing- Working across Front End and Back End .NET applications
- Containerising existing systems and deploying them to Kubernetes (AKS) on Azure
- Building and managing Azure infrastructure using Terraform
- Owning and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting security remediation and compliance activities to meet certification requirements
- Contributing quickly within an existing, evolving codebase
What They're Looking For
- Strong experience with modern .NET
- Comfortable working across both Front End and Back End
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Solid, practical experience using Terraform in Azure
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience
- Proven ability to work in delivery-critical environments
- Contractor mindset - able to pick things up quickly with minimal handover
