Job Title: Full-Stack Java Software Engineer

Location: London - Hybrid

Day Rate: £600 per day - Inside IR35

Clearance: SC Clearance required

The Role:
We are seeking high calibre Full Stack Java Software Engineers to join a growing delivery team supporting UK clients. This is an opportunity to work on complex, mission critical systems within secure environments, contributing to innovative solutions that address some of the most challenging problems in the public sector.

You will be part of a collaborative, multi disciplinary enterprise delivery team, taking a hands on role in designing and building robust, scalable, and secure software solutions. The role requires not only strong coding expertise but also a solid understanding of industry best practice, engineering standards, and agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain full-stack Java-based applications within secure environments.
  • Deliver high-quality, scalable and maintainable solutions aligned to industry best practice.
  • Contribute to solution design, ensuring non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, resilience) are met.
  • Work effectively within agile delivery teams, supporting continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional specialists to deliver balanced, high-quality enterprise solutions.
  • Support integration with APIs, messaging platforms, databases, and cloud services.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial experience as a full-stack Java Software Engineer within enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience delivering secure, scalable solutions in agile teams.
  • Experience working with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation.
  • Strong understanding of API integration and microservices architectures.
  • Experience working within secure or government-regulated environments.

Security Requirements:

  • Active SC clearance preferred.
