Job Title: Global Process Owner - Record-to-Report (R2R)

Department & Position Overview:
The Global Process Owner (GPO) - R2R is accountable for the end-to-end Record-to-Report process across all entities and regions. The role acts as the primary authority for R2R process design, standards, and system configuration impacting the general ledger, period-end close, consolidation, and reporting. It drives global standardisation while maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the globalR2R process framework, including:
- Journal entry management
- Intercompany accounting
- Fixed assets accounting
- Accruals and provisions
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Period-end and year-end close
- Consolidation and eliminations
- Statutory and management reporting
- Define global process standards, controls, policies, and governance model
- Manage the global close calendar and reduce "Days to Close"
- Standardise close activities and minimise non-value-add manual work
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of management and statutory reporting
- Own global R2R control design and effectiveness
- Partner with internal and external audit teams
- Serve as Global Process Design Authority for R2R within ERP systems
- Define chart of accounts governance and global structure
- Lead a global R2R community across regions
- Drive process automation, standardisation, and simplification
Key Competencies:
- Deep expertise in global Record-to-Report processes
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / multi-GAAP preferred)
- Extensive experience in global close and consolidation environments
- Proven ability to standardise processes in complex multinational organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels
- Strategic mindset with operational delivery focus
