Golang Developer Hybrid

Position: Golang Developer

Length: 3-6 month contract

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hybrid- New York, NY (3 days a week onsite- starting Jan 2026 4 days a week onsite)

Must Haves:

• 4-7 years of software engineering/development experience (Specifically within GO)
• Prior experience architecting micro service based applications
• software system as a collection of small, independent services that work together to form a larger application
• Background within AWS for cloud technologies
• Database Systems Experience: PostgresSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Coding: Python or Golang (GO is preferred)
• Automation Tools: Kubernetes and/or Docker
• Prior experience with mentoring junior level developers
• Empathy & interpersonal skills for mentorship and collaboration
• Degree within Computer Science or a related field

Plusses:

• Background within front-end development (using JavaScript)
• Experience with media workflows or encoding platforms
• Designing data lakes or large-scale data systems
