We are seeking a dedicated Construction Health and Safety Consultant to join our small but expanding team. The Health and Safety Consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance and assisting a varied number of clients in the construction industry. The role will will Hybrid with office/home and site attendance required. Works are NW based but with occasional travel required.
Key Attributes and Skills required:
- Providing advice and helping clients fulfil their CDM duties
- Preparing and submitting F10s
- Assessment and preparation of construction phase health and safety plans
- Site health and safety inspections
- Assisting Principal Contractors and Contractors in H&S compliance
- Manage workload as account manager to own clients
- Preparation of method statements and risk assessment
- Ideally you will have relevant experience within the construction industry.
- Experience in Civils and /or cladding remediation advantageous
- Design risk management skills and PD/CDM professional qualifications desirable but not essential
- NEBOSH General Certificate and/or Construction Certificate or higher are desirable along with excellent communication skills and a determination to succeed. A full driving licence and own transport is essential as some travel will be required
- CMaPS and or CMIOSH qualifications (or working towards)
- CPP and RAMS reviews
- RAMS writing for construction activities
- Problem solving and ability to work on own initiative essential
- Minimum 2 years in construction and or construction H&S role previously
- Driven, ambitious person keen to progress
- Previous exposure to H&S consultancy advantageous
