Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Hardware Installer to join our team at Hardware Essentials. Our industry-leading company specializes in providing and installing door and bath hardware, shower glass, and mirrors.
As a Hardware Installer, you will start off at $18 per hour until you are trained to work independently. Once you have acquired the necessary skills, you will have the option to move on to a piece rate system where you can earn an average of $20-$28 an hour.
We have three departments, and we are looking for an individual who is eager to learn the skills required to become a successful Hardware Installer. While a construction or handyman background would be beneficial, it is not required.

Responsibilities

As a Hardware Installer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to installing door and bath hardware, hanging decorative mirrors, installing barn doors, and performing warranty work for homeowners and builders. You will need to be comfortable working in different settings and adapting to changing project requirements. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Installing door and bath hardware
- Hanging decorative mirrors
- Installing barn doors
- Performing warranty work for homeowners and builders
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues as they arise
You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to your work. The ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential to succeed in this role.
Qualifications

To be considered for the Hardware Installer position, you should, or be willing to possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in using basic construction tools, such as a drill, level, tape measure, etc.
- Knowledge of various installation techniques and best practices
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Physical dexterity and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and customers
