Head of Transactional Finance

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Head of Transactional Finance on a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

Main accountabilities:

To be the principal operational and strategic lead responsible for managing and delivering Transactional Finance Services for the client, with budget responsibility of circa £3 million per annum.

To lead on modernisation of Transactional Finance that delivers both transformation of the service and meets the strategic channel shift required by the 'digital first' corporate strategy.

To ensure accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking functions are managed to perform effectively and efficiently within the Transactional Finance, meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.

To be responsible for the operational administration, management and development of:

• The clients SAP accounts payables and SAP accounts receivables functions and services, and payables functions relating to adult social care through Mosaic
• The clients SAP master data and user management functions and services. To have responsibility for managing the client's sundry debt programme and management of payments of SAP AR invoices totalling £620m in year.
