Location: West Lafayette, IN
Duration: 1 year Contract (possibility for extension)
Pay rate: $32/hour
Schedule: 80 hours / month. Two times per week available between 8 am - 5pm
60 day training provided
Job Summary: Perform paraffin histology tasks, such as fixation, trimming, sectioning, and staining in adherence to study protocols and standard operating procedures. Routine histology laboratory upkeep (ordering supplies, archiving).
Qualifications include:
- A.S. or B.S. in Life Science or minimum of 2 years direct experience with paraffin histology
- Experience with paraffin histology and GLP testing is strongly preferred
- Attention to detail and proactive communication with team members is important
