Histology Technician (HT) - $45.32/hr
Lamb Company- The position is for a Histology Technician in the 705A Histology Lab.
- The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required.
- The candidate needs to hold an ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification as a Medical Technologist Pathology.
- The job role involves working in the Department 705, which involves Pathology, Cytology, and IHC (Immunohistochemistry).
- The job tasks include receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimens into Cerner (healthcare software), collecting blocks from PA (Pathologist Assistant) staff, processing tissue, embedding, cutting, and staining of slides.
- The job is not open to local candidates within 50 miles of the job location.
