Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst/Specialist
Contract: 8 months
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week on site (Oxford area)
Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance
We're looking for an experienced Identity Access Management (IAM) Analyst/Specialist to join a key programme focused on strengthening identity governance, access controls, and life cycle automation across a complex enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working across technical IAM implementations while engaging with security and wider IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and configure Identity Governance Administration (IGA) platforms
Integrate IGA solutions with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and related Microsoft security services
Connect and manage authoritative identity sources (eg HR systems)
Design and automate Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) life cycle processes
Support and refine RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) models
Contribute to authentication and authorisation design using modern protocols
Ensure IAM solutions align with security best practice and recognised frameworks
Troubleshoot access, identity, and provisioning issues across platforms
Essential Skills Experience
Proven hands-on experience implementing IAM/IGA solutions
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD integration
Solid understanding of identity life cycle management and JML automation
Experience working with RBAC modelling and access governance
Good knowledge of authentication protocols (eg SAML, OAuth2, OIDC)
Understanding of security frameworks and controls (eg Zero Trust principles)
Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid, multi-stakeholder environments
Nice to Have
Experience in regulated or public-sector environments
