Role Overview

To support and maintain the organisation's Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) platform across its full life cycle, ensuring it remains secure, stable, and fit for purpose within a large-scale enterprise environment.

The role is responsible for assisting with platform upgrades, patching, and hotfixes, maintaining the security posture of the DDI estate, and resolving incidents to ensure high service availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) services within a live production environment
  • Manage and resolve incidents (INCs) and service requests in line with defined SLAs
  • Process business requests, including DNS changes, DHCP updates, and IP address management (IPAM) allocations
  • Perform routine platform maintenance, including upgrades, patching, and hotfix implementation
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and contribute to continuous service improvement
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical guidance and contributing to decision-making

What You Will Ideally Bring:

  • Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) - Expert
  • Hands-on experience with Infoblox NIOS, with strong knowledge of DNS/DHCP fundamentals and enterprise troubleshooting
  • Incident & Operational Support (3rd Line) - Strong
  • Proven experience managing incidents, performing RCA, and supporting critical production environments
  • Change Management (ServiceNow) - Strong
  • Experience implementing and managing changes using ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Infoblox Certified Deployment Administrator (CDA)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), particularly networking integration
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and automation-driven environments
  • Exposure to infrastructure automation or Scripting (eg, Python, Ansible)
