Our client, a Private Equity backed retail group is seeking to hire an interim Finance Systems Lead to take ownership of day to day finance systems activity during a period of significant transformation. This interim role requires someone who blends strong finance process understanding with hands on systems capability and truly understands how finance operates and how modern systems should support it.
Working with the group's ERP system, you will play a key role in redesigning finance processes and driving systems automation in a sustainable, scalable way. Experience selecting or implementing consolidation systems will be a must as the business continues to streamline its international reporting environment.
This role will suit a Financial Controller / Head of Finance retail specialist who has demonstrated genuine process improvement - moving teams away from manual, time consuming processes. You will possess strong people skills as you will work closely with finance teams, IT, and external vendors to drive adoption, influence behaviours, and embed new processes across multiple geographies.
The role is hybrid, based in Europe and will involve significant travel to London, Paris and APAC as required. This role is offered on a 6 months basis with a possibility for extension to 12 in order to continue the transformation.
