Interim Financial Accountant - Insurance £350-£375/day

A well-established insurance group is seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance function through a key reporting period.This is a short-term, hands-on assignment focused on delivering a smooth and accurate close, ideal for someone comfortable stepping straight into a live environment.
Key Details

• Rate: £350-£375 per day (Inside IR35)
• Duration: 1-2 month (potential to extend)
• Location: Fully remote

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the financial close / quarter-end reporting
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and reconciliations
• Assist with general ledger and journal postings
• Prepare and review VAT returns

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Strong hands-on financial accounting / close process experience
• Experience within insurance or financial services preferred
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handover
