Intern-I.T.

Join Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc. as an Intern in the I.T. department to gain hands-on experience in the electric utility industry. This onsite position is in Conway, SC.

The starting pay for this intern position is 16.00 per hour. As an Intern in the I.T. department, you will assist with end-user support, equipment setup, and system maintenance.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Must be 18 Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License
• Preferred-pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or other technology focused degree

After an offer of employment has been made, the cooperative requires the successful completion of a physical with drug and alcohol screening, a physical capacity test, and a background check. Some positions will also require a driving record.
