This is a permanent role that can be based in either our London or Darlington office, with the flexibility to work on a hybrid or home based basis. The role Reporting to the Head of IT Business Relations & Consulting, these roles are anticipated to be interchangeable and multifaceted, requiring a level of flexibility to provide support across all areas within Railpen. The primary responsibility will be to act as a liaison between business operations and TSG, playing a crucial role in ensuring that technology solutions align with business strategies, driving operational efficiency, and delivering value to the organisation. The person We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working in business partnering roles within Technology, Change or Finance. Previous working experience within financial services, with knowledge of Pensions or Investment & Fiduciary business line operations is desirable. We are seeking collaborative, strategic thinkers who thrive on building meaningful relationships and driving positive outcomes. As IT Business Partner you will possess an understanding of IT concepts, processes, and best practices, as well as current and emerging technologies and trends. We are looking for someone who holds business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs and requirements into IT solutions and strategies.We welcome candidates who exhibit the ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. You will have the ability to determine whether the business needs can be met by adopting and optimising existing products, whilst actively supporting Business Units by offering continuous improvement insights, surface new business requirements and help shape demand for technology solutions so that we can achieve positive business outcomes.The ideal candidate, will embody a customer-centric approach, prioritising the business's needs.
