Are you an experienced procurement leader with a passion for digital transformation, emerging technology, and delivering complex commercial outcomes?

We are seeking a IT Procurement Lead to play a pivotal role in driving high-profile digital and technology procurements across a large and complex public sector environment. This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic sourcing activity, influence senior stakeholders, and develop a high-performing commercial team at the forefront of digital innovation.

From software and SaaS solutions to AI, automation and emerging technologies, you'll help shape commercial strategies that enable modern, agile delivery while ensuring value for money and robust governance.

The Opportunity

As a senior leader within the commercial function, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of procurement and commercial professionals, driving performance, capability and engagement.
• Deliver complex, high-value digital and technology procurements from strategy through to contract award.
• Manage multiple procurement programmes simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and business needs.
• Provide expert commercial advice to senior stakeholders on sourcing approaches, risk management and procurement strategy.
• Develop innovative commercial solutions that support digital delivery, software procurement and emerging technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement and help embed best practice across the wider commercial function.
• Build strong relationships across digital, technology, finance and delivery teams, becoming a trusted commercial partner.

Essential Experience

• Significant experience delivering complex public sector procurements.
• Strong background in digital, technology or software-related procurement activity.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing procurement or commercial teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple procurement projects and competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
• Experience operating within regulated procurement environments.

• MCIPS or equivalent commercial qualification.
