IT - Project Manager Tech IV

We are seeking a Scrum Master to provide direction to development and testing teams. This role will conduct Agile Ceremonies, oversee work and release management, and manage the entire Scrum process. The successful candidate will take projects from assignment to implementation, support change management efforts, and recommend process improvements to ensure the quality and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to the development and testing team members.
  • Conduct Agile Ceremonies, oversee work, and manage releases.
  • Manage the entire Scrum process, maintaining Scrum artifacts and tools.
  • Take projects from initial assignment through to full implementation.
  • Support management team's efforts in change management.
  • Recommend and implement actions to improve existing processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, Solutions Architects, Product Owners, Managers, and Developers.
  • Manage testing schedules to meet deadlines and payroll cycles.

Required Qualifications

Education: A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the degree is not in the applicable field, four additional years of related experience are required.

Experience: A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience is required. The candidate typically performs all functional duties independently.

Certifications: A Scrum Master Certification is required.

Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of software development cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methods.
  • Proficiency with VersionOne or other equivalent Agile project management software.
  • Strong understanding of the complete life cycle of a system application and operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems and processing.
  • Mainframe knowledge is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
  • The candidate must have lived in the US for the past 5 years, with no more than 6 months of travel outside the United States within that period (Military Service excluded).
  • The standard work week is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
  • Travel may be required to support business efforts.
