Location: Dublin (1-2 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: Initial 6 Months
Engagement: Daily Rate Contract

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a large, technology-led organisation undergoing significant investment in cloud infrastructure, modern workplace technologies and enterprise service delivery.

As part of an ongoing cloud first strategy, an experienced IT Solution Architect is required to help design, govern and deliver enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions across a complex multi site environment.

This role will suit an architect who enjoys combining technical leadership with hands on solution design and has a strong background across Microsoft cloud technologies, identity services and infrastructure modernisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver infrastructure, cloud and end user computing solutions aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Provide architectural governance and technical leadership across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Lead Azure and Microsoft 365 transformation and migration activities.
• Drive Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID) modernisation programmes.
• Design and enhance Intune-based application and device management solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams on authentication, identity and access requirements.
• Review existing cloud architecture and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to future state technology roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, highly available and operationally supportable.

Required Experience

• Previous experience operating in a Solution Architect capacity within a medium to large enterprise environment.
• Strong expertise across Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID) and identity services.
• Experience delivering cloud migration, infrastructure transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Intune, endpoint management and Microsoft security technologies.
• Experience providing governance and architectural oversight throughout project delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands on technical engagement.

Desirable Experience

• Enterprise Mobility & Security technologies.
• Exchange Online migration and administration.
• SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
• Hyper V or other virtualization technologies.
• Experience operating within complex multi domain or multi forest environments.
