IT Specialist (Contract) Position Summary HTI is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to support operations at OP in Anderson, SC. This role provides technical support to both office and shopfloor users, resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining endpoint devices, and assisting with device lifecycle management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable supporting a manufacturing environment with both office and production-floor technology. Employment Details Employment Type: Contract through HTI Location: OP - Anderson, SC Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Flexibility Required: Must be willing to work after 5:00 PM or weekends if operational needs require it Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve hardware and software incidents and service requests from shopfloor and office end users. Provide support across Level 1 (call management), Level 2 (procedural resolution), and Level 3 issues depending on experience and skill level. Troubleshoot and support endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Provide IT support within both office and shopfloor manufacturing environments to ensure minimal downtime. Install, configure, and maintain label printers, laser printers, and related printing systems. Support and troubleshoot Windows 11 environments. Assist with PC and mobile phone renewals, including setup, configuration, and data migration. Support cloud-based device management systems, including tools such as Microsoft Intune. Configure and deploy mobile phones and mobile device management solutions. Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the IT service management system. Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams when necessary. Required Qualifications Previous IT support experience in a professional environment. Strong experience supporting Windows 11 systems and endpoint hardware. Experience troubleshooting label printers, laser printers, and print environments. Familiarity with cloud-based systems and endpoint management tools, such as Microsoft Intune. Experience setting up and supporting mobile phones and mobile device configurations. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing or shopfloor IT environments. Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or other enterprise systems. Experience with device lifecycle management and equipment deployments. Work Environment On-site role supporting both office and shopfloor users.
