The Role
QCS is hiring an IT Support Field Technician to provide onsite IT support for small and midsized businesses across Central Florida. This fieldbased role is ideal for a technician who enjoys handson problem solving and delivering dependable, facetoface support.
The Kissimmee office serves as your home base, with regular local travel to client sites. You will work independently in the field while collaborating with our internal team to ensure consistent, highquality service.
What Youll Do
- Travel to client sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT equipment
- Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows, macOS, and basic networking environments
- Support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace user environments, including account management, email configuration, and applying basic security settings per documented standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users in professional, clientfacing settings
- Document service calls, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions using a ticketing system
- Provide backup support for Help Desk operations and ticket resolution as needed
- Work across diverse SMB client environments with varying technologies and support needs
- Follow company standards and contribute to a positive, teamoriented service culture
What Were Looking For
- 3+ years of handson IT support experience, including onsite or field work
- Strong troubleshooting skills with computer hardware, Windows and macOS, printers, and basic networking
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace user environments
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with clients
- Professional, adaptable, and dependable work style
- Valid Florida drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass required background screenings for clientsite work
