Job Title: Senior Java Software Developer - GCP
Location: Dunton - 4 days per week onsite
Salary/Rate: £560 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 22/06/2026
Job Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Designing and building high-scale Back End services using Java
2.Developing secure and resilient identity and access management solutions
3.Working on systems supporting high-volume transactional workloads in a regulated environment
4.Applying Test Driven Development (TDD) throughout the software development life cycle

Required Skills/Experience
1.Extensive experience in Back End software engineering
2.Strong Java development experience
3.Experience designing and building high-scale, highly available Back End services
4.Experience working within financial services, banking, lending, payments, or other regulated environments

Desirable Skills/Experience
1.Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms
2.Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, or authentication services
3.Experience with microservices and distributed systems
4.Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
