Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a JIRA Developer/SME for a 6 Month potential extension contract based in London -Hybrid/Remote.

Purpose of the role:
As a Atlassian product expert you will be working closely with the team and working on the development and migration processes. The core responsibility is Jira config, development, adhering to milestones with knowledge of Atlassian products ie Jira and Confluence to migrate from Wealth version of Jira to the Group version of Jira. Along with this the product expert will also be responsible for Scopetool - ServiceNow - Jira integration.

What you'll do:

• Planning and scoping data, users and configuration migration.
• Evaluate Jira development and migration requirement - data, configurations, users and workflows.
• Prepare pre-migration and execution plan.
• Support testing to prove migration outcomes.
• Execute migration and validate configuration.
• Support post migration activities, troubleshooting and documentation.
• Administer and maintain Jira Software and/or Jira Service Management.
• Configure and manage projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, schemes, and permissions.

The skills you'll need:

• Experience as JIRA Developer/SME who can lead development, configuration, and migration work across their Jira platform.
• Prior work experience in ServiceNow integration/migration.
• Experience in banking or high-tech environments.
