Position: JR. Investor Relations Associate

Compensation: $18 per hour

Hours: 20 hrs per week

Location: near or within NJ

Job Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Investor Relations Associate to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a junior or senior business student eager to gain hands-on experience in investment management, investor relations, and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow-up & Nurture Investor Pipeline: Engage with potential investors, track communications, and provide timely follow-ups to maintain relationships and build trust.
  • Conduct Initial Investor Consultations: Set up and conduct introductory meetings with investors, clearly articulating our investment strategies and opportunities.
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Attend networking events, industry conferences, and company-sponsored functions to represent APEX CAPITAL GROUP and generate investor leads.
  • Investor Communication: Assist in drafting emails, newsletters, and reports to keep investors informed about ongoing projects and opportunities.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and update CRM tools to track engagement and follow-ups.
  • Market Research & Industry Insights: Stay updated on market trends, competitor analysis, and industry developments to enhance investor conversations.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a junior or senior year of a Business, Finance, Economics, or related program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to networking and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or finance is beneficial but not required.
