Title: Quality Control Lab Assistant Laboratory Technician cGMP

Location: On-site - Knoxville, TN, United States

Duration: 6-Month Contract Full-Time 2nd Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 2:30pm-11:00pm)

Job Description: Seeking a Quality Control Lab Assistant / Laboratory Technician to support plasma laboratory testing operations in a regulated cGMP environment, handling specimen receipt, sample processing, instrumentation, and quality compliance across a full 40-hour work week.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, prepare, and process donor samples through front-end automation systems from receipt through final testing
  • Track and reconcile samples using computerized laboratory inventory management systems; retrieve archived specimens for additional testing
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation within assigned department
  • Handle refrigerated and frozen sample storage and archive management
  • Perform proper biohazard disposal of post-testing samples in compliance with safety regulations
  • Monitor and report laboratory supply inventory levels to supervisor as needed
  • Work within current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines and adhere to all applicable regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Basic computer proficiency (required)
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred
