Lead Developer - Node.js/AWS

Role: Lead Developer (Node.js/AWS)
Length: Initial 6-month contract
Day Rate: £725 p/d Inside IR35
Location: Manchester (Hybrid; 2 days per week onsite)
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance/SC Eligibility

We're supporting a major UK Government department looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join a multidisciplinary digital team based out of Manchester.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong Node.js & AWS Serverless Experience: A proven track record building and scaling resilient cloud production services.
• Systems Integration Expertise: Proven ability to connect large-scale systems across varied technical eras (modern and Legacy).
• Identity & Security Knowledge: Experience or strong familiarity with authentication protocols and OIDC is highly advantageous.
• Architectural Mindset: While formal Architect titles aren't required, experience with Typescript and a strong desire to focus on system design and technical documentation is essential.
