Contract - Day Rate

€500 - €600 per day

I am currently recruiting for a Lead Python Engineer to join a high-performing FinTech organisation based in Dublin City Centre.

This is a hands on technical leadership role where you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of key platform initiatives while leading a small team of 2 3 engineers.

• Lead the development and delivery of scalable Python based applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers
• Drive engineering best practice, code quality and technical standards
• Work closely with Product, Architecture and wider technology teams
• Contribute hands on to design, development and code reviews
• Support the evolution of a modern cloud based engineering environment

• Strong commercial experience developing software with Python
• Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Experience designing and delivering scalable backend systems
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices and distributed architectures
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience working within fast paced Agile environments
