Responsibilities for the Mortgage Collections and Loss Mitigation Specialist include but are not limited to:
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour

Responsibilities for the Mortgage Collections and Loss Mitigation Specialist include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers regarding loss mitigation and collections-related inquiries
- Perform inbound and outbound collection calls to resolve delinquent mortgage accounts and negotiate payment solutions
- Analyze borrower financials to determine eligibility for retention options including forbearance and loan modifications, or liquidation options such as short sale and deed in lieu
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with investor guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- 3+ years of Loss Mitigation and Mortgage Collections experience
- Strong knowledge of investor guidelines including FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC
- Experience with collections, loss mitigation, mortgage servicing, bankruptcy procedures, and Fair Debt Collection regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Pay: $25 - $27/hour
- Shift: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST
- 100% remote position
