Medical Technologist II Blood Blank- Full Time - Days

Performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complex laboratory techniques. Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Medical Technologist I Qualifications:

Education : Associate degree
Certifications : MLT certification OR Bachelors degree, in a major that meets a certification agency's requirements OR Completion of a 50 week U.S. military medical laboratory training course

Medical Technologist II Qualifications:

$10,000 sign on bonus for MT II Candidates! (At least 2 year commitment)

Education : Associate degree required and bachelor's degree preferred

Experience : up to 3 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent or certification eligible new MLS graduate.
Certifications : PREFERRED certification is ASCP certified as a medical laboratory scientist. Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification, through ASCP or equivalent.
