Pay Rate:

$17.00 - $26.00/hr (W2)


Duration:

6-Month Contract (Potential for extension)


Shift:

8-hour shift between 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM ET


Clearance:

Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance


Role Overview


You will act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing technical guidance to the lending industry and the public regarding

FHA mortgage policies, guidelines, and procedures.



Key Responsibilities

• 
  
  Expert Support:
  
  Answer calls and emails from Loan Officers, Underwriters, and lenders regarding FHA origination guidelines.
  


• 
  
  Technical Research:
  
  Utilize a comprehensive knowledge database to provide accurate, real-time answers to complex mortgage inquiries.
  


• 
  
  Documentation:
  
  Maintain precise records of all interactions within a centralized database.
  


• 
  
  Compliance:
  
  Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure HUD mission alignment.
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  
  Experience:
  
  Minimum
  
  2 years
  
  of mortgage origination experience (e.g., Loan Processor, Loan Officer, Junior Underwriter, or Originator).
  


• 
  
  Customer Service:
  
  Minimum
  
  1 year
  
  of contact center or professional telephone customer service experience.
  


• 
  
  Technical Skills:
  
  Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems; typing speed of
  
  40+ WPM
  
  .
  


• 
  
  Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
  

Preferred Skills

• 
  
  Bilingual:
  
  Spanish/English (Verbal and Written).
  


• 
  
  Knowledge:
  
  Prior experience specifically with
  
  FHA
  
  guidelines.
  


• 
  
  Omnichannel:
  
  Experience managing support across phone, email, and chat.
