This is a full-time, non-exempt position offering a competitive starting wage of $18.06 to $20.07 per hour, based on experience. Currently classified as onsite only, this role is based at our Avenue B location with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Founded in 1936 in a small trailer on paper mill property, Northwoods Credit Union began with five paper mill employees who had a vision of offering fairly priced financial products and excellent service to their hardworking coworkers. A Day in the Life of a Mortgage Processor I

In this fast paced and detail driven role, you will support the success of the Mortgage Department by ensuring loan files are organized, complete, accurate, and compliant with all regulatory and internal guidelines to support timely closings. You will be responsible for processing, closing, servicing, and disbursing mortgage funds; paying applicable fees; performing general loan maintenance; and establishing and managing escrow accounts; along with a variety of administrative tasks related to mortgage loan files. The Mortgage Processor I serves our members through effective communication, problem resolution, and dependable follow through, helping to deliver a smooth and positive mortgage experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience in mortgage, a financial institution environment, or roles with similar functions and responsibilities preferred.
