.NET Developer - Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join a high-profile digital transformation programme within a leading consultancy environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate closely with architects, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Develop robust, scalable and maintainable code following best practice and coding standards.
• Participate in technical design sessions, code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing applications and services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development processes and tooling.

Essential Skills & Experience

? 8-10 years' commercial software development experience.
? Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core development.
? Extensive experience with object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
? Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
? Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
? Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design principles.
? Experience with source control and CI/CD practices (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub etc.).
? Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Skills

? Experience developing modern Front End applications using Blazor.
? Exposure to DevExpress UI components and frameworks.
? Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
? Experience within consulting or client-facing environments.
