NetSuite Consultant

Robert Half is working with a small but growing financial services organisation based in London, is looking for an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to join them on an initial 6-month contract.

The business already has NetSuite live and Embedded in its finance operations, and is now looking to invest in a targeted programme of enhancements to improve reporting, automation, and control as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a current-state review of the existing NetSuite instance, identifying quick wins, process gaps, and configuration debt
• Gather and document business requirements from Finance and Operations stakeholders
• Configure and enhance Advanced Revenue Management to support compliant, automated revenue recognition schedules
• Improve bank feed automation and reconciliation matching rules to reduce manual effort during month-end close
• Design and implement approval workflows (SuiteFlow) across purchase requisitions, expense claims, and journal entry controls
• Improve financial reporting, dashboards, and saved searches for management and regulatory reporting
• Manage and prioritise a backlog of enhancement requests in conjunction with the Finance Director/Head of Finance
• Liaise with third-party developers/ISVs where custom SuiteScript or integrations are required
• Provide user training, documentation, and change management support for new functionality
• Ensure enhancements maintain audit trail integrity and support compliance/regulatory requirements relevant to financial services
• Provide ad hoc troubleshooting and functional support for the existing NetSuite environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record as a NetSuite Functional Consultant, ideally within financial services, fintech, or a regulated environment
• Strong hands-on experience with core NetSuite modules: GL, AP/AR, Financial Reporting, SuiteAnalytics
• Experience with SuiteFlow for workflow automation (SuiteScript knowledge advantageous but not essential)
• Familiarity with Advanced Revenue Management, multi-subsidiary/multi-currency configuration, and/or NSPB (desirable)
• Solid understanding of financial services processes and controls (eg regulatory reporting, audit requirements)
• Strong stakeholder management skills - able to work directly with Finance leadership and translate requirements into solutions
• NetSuite certification(s) desirable (eg SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant)
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Organisation:

• Initial 6 months contract
• Based in London (3 days per week in the office)
• Day Rate | Outside IR35
