Network Deployment Engineer

Location: Manchester
Contract Length: 3 Weeks
Start Date: 10th August
Rate: £250 per day (Via Umbrella)

We are looking for a Network Deployment Engineer to join a short-term project. This is a hands-on role requiring practical experience with Cisco networking equipment, including switch installation, configuration, software upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Build and deploy Cisco switch stacks.
• Connect power supplies and patch uplink connections.
• Upgrade Cisco IOS-XE software across network devices.
• Complete basic switch configuration and verification tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common networking issues.
• Install, configure, and support Cisco Catalyst Switches and wireless access points (APs).
• Assist with network deployment activities, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all work is completed to project standards and within agreed timescales.
