Circa £500 per day outside IR35

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in AV networking and systems integration to conduct an independent review of our client's current infrastructure and support the implementation of improvements.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive, independent assessment of existing network infrastructure across multiple theatre locations
• Identify root causes of stability and performance issues
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations for optimisation and resilience
• Implement agreed changes in collaboration with our internal Engineering team and external partners
• Ensure secure, reliable storage and data handling across a complex, distributed network
• Document network architecture, changes, and best practices for ongoing maintenance

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in complex, multi-site environments
• Hands-on experience with AV networking systems, including:
• Dante AV Networking
• Avid EuCon
• Harman HiQnet
• Strong understanding of network design, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
• Experience with secure storage solutions over distributed networks
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience working within theatre, live events, or broadcast environments
• Familiarity with Real Time audio/video workflows
• Knowledge of network security best practices in AV environments

Engagement Scope
This role will begin with an independent review phase, followed by a hands-on implementation phase to address identified issues.
