Contract: 3 months (Outside IR35)
Rate: £480/day
Location: Hybrid

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Solution Design Authority to lead the design and delivery of complex telecom network solutions. This role requires a strong blend of core network expertise and broader multi-domain knowledge, with the ability to shape solutions from early concept through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as design authority across network initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategy and architecture principles
• Assess early-stage ideas and project briefs, defining architecture where not yet established
• Translate business needs into clear business and technical requirements
• Lead end-to-end solution design, supporting delivery through to implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, robust solutions

Core Experience (Essential)

Strong design experience in one or more of the following:

• 5G Core/Mobile Packet Core (EPC)
• IMS/VoLTE/Voice Core
• Subscriber platforms (HSS/UDM)
• Messaging or OSS (desirable)

Additional Experience (Essential)

• Proven experience across at least one additional network domain (eg voice, data, IP, service delivery), demonstrating a broad, cross-domain understanding

Desirable

• Exposure to RAN design/architecture
• Experience with fixed-line networks, FWA, SD-WAN, or enterprise connectivity solutions

Profile

• Strong solution design authority/architect-level experience
• Able to work from concept through to delivery in ambiguous environments
• Confident engaging both technical and business stakeholders
