What would you say to joining a team taking OpenText environment through a major upgrade and cloud shift, and is looking for someone who enjoys being the go to expert when things get interesting. If you like solving tricky Content Server problems, building sharp WebReports, and shaping how an organization uses its content and metadata, you'll fit right in.

This is a 6+ month contract, remote with Pacific Time hours. You'll collaborate with a small, sharp team and jump into everything from system tuning to custom UI work to early-stage AI initiatives with OpenText Aviator.

Location: Must be US based. Southern California is a plus for occasional onsite sessions.

What You'll Work On

  • Owning the health and performance of OpenText Content Server (v25.1)

  • Digging into logs, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with OpenText support

  • Fine tuning permissions, workspaces, and security models

  • Building advanced WebReports and custom pages using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and C#

  • Supporting AppWorks and helping streamline workflows

  • Helping move key components into AWS and keeping integrations with SharePoint and Azure running smoothly

  • Exploring how OpenText Aviator and Knowledge Discovery can improve search, automation, and content intelligence


Requirements

What You Bring

  • Solid experience with OpenText Content Server and enterprise content management

  • Strong web development skills (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap)

  • Ability to build and maintain complex WebReports

  • Experience with C# or similar back-end logic

  • Familiarity with AWS or cloud-hosted environments

  • Comfort working with metadata structures, permissions, and content architecture

Bonus Points

  • Experience with OpenText Knowledge Discovery

  • Exposure to OpenText Aviator or other AI-driven content tools

  • Ability to map processes or system flows in Visio

Other Must-Haves

  • Based in the United States

  • Able to work Pacific Time hours

  • Willing to attend onsite meetings in Southern California when needed
