Job Title: Openshift Automation Engineer
Location: Sheffield, Birmingham or Edinburgh
Salary/Rate: £450 per day
Start Date: 01/04/2007
Job Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1.Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Shell
2.Build and maintain automation for RedHat OpenShift environments
3.Integrate automation with APIs, enterprise systems, and tooling
4.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities

Required Skills/Experience
1.Strong Scripting experience: Python, PowerShell, Shell
2.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
3.Solid understanding of IT operations, system administration, or QA/testing
4.Strong documentation and process mapping skills

Desirable Skills/Experience 1.Test automation frameworks (eg, Selenium, PyTest, Robot Framework)
2. Experience working in large-scale, regulated environments
3.Ability to work independently and manage deliverables effectively
4.Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
