We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer with strong Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) expertise to support the delivery of secure cloud platforms within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
The role involves both hands-on engineering and security advisory, ensuring security is Embedded across cloud platform delivery without slowing progress. You will work closely with platform engineers and architects to design, implement and improve secure OCI environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure OCI tenancy foundations
- Configure IAM, networking, and core security controls
- Implement security guardrails such as Cloud Guard, Security Zones and Vault
- Develop and review Terraform-based infrastructure (IaC)
- Support secure workload deployments and platform services
- Implement logging, monitoring and security visibility
- Identify security gaps and recommend pragmatic improvements
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience
- OCI IAM, compartments and tenancy design
- OCI networking (VCNs, subnets, routing, NSGs, gateways)
- Terraform/Infrastructure as Code
- GitHub workflows and code reviews
- Experience implementing Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, WAF
- OCI logging and monitoring
- Working knowledge of Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles
