The Opportunity

Our client are scaling their development team to meet the demands of a high-growth phase. As they move into the development of complex custom elements, we need a seasoned Developer who can hit the ground running. This role isn't just about maintenance; it's about integrating current systems with cutting-edge functionality and driving the development lifecycle of our existing workstreams.

Core Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Work across the full lifecycle to integrate existing systems with new, custom-built functionality.
• Technical Design: Specify requirements for new integrations, including developing, validating, and reviewing physical designs and producing comprehensive Release Notes.
• Maintenance and Innovation: Maintain existing workstreams while developing new custom elements using Oracle VBCS.
• Deployment: Use SECDEVOPS processes to deploy code efficiently across development and test environments.
• Collaboration: Act as a key technical contributor within the team, providing progress updates and ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and meet the following criteria:

• Experience: 3+ years of total Development experience, including 2+ years specifically with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Integration Expertise: Proven track record with SOAP/REST/JSON payloads, Postman, and Curl.
• Custom App Development: Hands-on experience using Oracle VBCS to build custom service elements.
• Connectivity: Practical experience with Oracle ERP and HCM connectivity via OIC.
• The Stack: Proficiency in OAUTH, IAM, JWT, GIT, XML, JSON, XSLT, and SOAPUI.
• PaaS Knowledge: 3+ years of experience working with system interfaces, predominantly on PaaS Cloud.

• Self-Starter: You are given a set of deliverables and can "crack on" with minimal supervision.
• Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for documenting designs and collaborating with the PMO.
• Team Player: A strong focus on teamwork and collective problem-solving.

• Experience with DevOps and Public Cloud (IaaS) security/IAM controls.
• Knowledge of Change/Release processes and security best practices for new service development.
• Ability to initiate corrective actions when technical bottlenecks arise.

This is a high-impact role where your technical expertise directly influences the evolution of this service architecture. If you have at least 18 months of intensive OIC experience and a variety of REST API integrations under your belt, we want to hear from you.
