OT Network Engineer

Role: Network / Systems Analyst (2 openings) Location: Lutz, FL - Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 remote) Duration: 6-month contract Hours: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on senior Cisco network engineering role supporting TECO's critical infrastructure - including power plants, solar fields, and control centers across the Tampa Bay area. You'd be working directly with the network team to modernize, secure, and maintain the infrastructure that keeps the grid running. Key responsibilities include: • Patching and upgrading Cisco routers, switches, and ACI fabrics across multiple sites • Implementing and administering NAC solutions (Cisco ISE) - device authentication, access enforcement, and posture assessments • Designing and deploying network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies across ACI and traditional environments • Supporting SASE implementation and network security policy enforcement • Performing vulnerability assessments and lifecycle refreshes across LAN, WAN, SDN, and OT environments • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across segmentation policies, NAC, DDoS protection, and NetScaler load balancers • Partnering with cross-functional teams on network security, compliance, and infrastructure projects WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR 8+ years of network engineering experience with strong Cisco focus Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, and/or Cisco Nexus Network segmentation and NAC enforcement experience Strong background in patching and upgrading Cisco routers and switches Familiarity with SASE, SDN, WAN, and LAN environments CCNA or CCNP preferred - solid hands-on experience considered in lieu Must be local to or able to commute to Lutz, FL (4 days onsite) Bonus: Prior experience in utility, energy, OT, or industrial network environments is a significant differentiator.
