Our client is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team in Dublin, Ireland.

Duration - 6 months

Location - Hybrid at Ballsbridge (3 days onsite)

Summary:

Collaborate with the outsourced payroll support team and outsourced payroll processors to manage payroll for entities across EMEA, including France, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Czech Republic, Belgium, Bulgaria, Kenya, Senegal, Nigeria, and Denmark, while rotating across payrolls internationally and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local requirements

Maintain robust internal controls and evaluate current work processes to drive process improvements, enhancing efficiencies, accuracy, and ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements

Collaborate and manage relationships with internal stakeholders including HR, Benefits and Equity Team, and external partners such as Payroll Service Providers, authorities, and auditors for business initiatives or payroll escalations

Take ownership of payroll compliance and filings, including responding to ad hoc requests from local statutory authorities and Internal Audit

Analyze and prepare data analytics for leadership review, and identify opportunities for process improvement

Manage Salesforce case management for payroll-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and escalation of issues as necessary

Manage vendor performance for payroll operations, including monitoring adherence to SLAs, conducting root cause analysis for issues, and driving remediation and resolution strategies

Stay up-to-date with International payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that payroll practices are in accordance with local laws and regulations

Support ongoing global/regional finance operations projects as required

Assist with other operational tasks as assigned by management

Requirements
  • Highly organized with a specific attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in regional Payroll Operations within International payroll, preferably with a fast-growing multinational company
  • Experience with ADP Celergo and/or SAP
  • Working knowledge of EMEA payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements, with experience applying them to multi-country payroll processing
  • Experience in managing offshore payroll teams and working effectively with outsourced payroll vendors and geographically dispersed teams
  • Proven experience with processing end to end Payroll
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in driving process improvements and exploring innovative solutions within payroll operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, required for coordinating with cross-regional teams and external vendors across EMEA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Payroll Operations across 10 or more EMEA countries simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Familiarity with GDPR requirements as they apply to employee payroll data handling and retention
  • Experience contributing to payroll system implementations, migrations, or process automation initiatives
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel for payroll reconciliation and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
