Planner (Primavera P6 & EVM) | Major Infrastructure Programme
Location: Reading Area (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite)
Duration: 18 Months

This is a *Reading* Hybrid based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *Developing, maintaining and optimising project schedules using Primavera P6*

We are seeking a skilled Senior Planner to join a major long-term project, supporting the successful delivery of large-scale construction and engineering activities. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative environment where your planning expertise will directly influence project outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing, maintaining and optimising project schedules using Primavera P6
• Supporting project controls and delivery teams with accurate planning and forecasting
• Applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to monitor performance and progress
• Integrating supply chain activities into programme schedules
• Working closely with stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities and programme impacts
• Supporting contract delivery through effective planning and scheduling practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience operating at Senior Planner level
• Advanced Primavera P6 planning and scheduling expertise
• Strong understanding and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience integrating complex supply chains into project programmes
• Knowledge of contract administration and project delivery frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Strong construction, infrastructure or major project background
• Experience working within highly regulated or complex project environments

You are proactive, detail-oriented and thrive in complex delivery environments. You can confidently challenge assumptions, identify programme risks, and work collaboratively with project teams to drive successful outcomes.
