Platform Specialist

Platform Specialist | Contract | Inside IR35 | London (hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Platform Specialist to join a public sector ICT team on a contract basis (inside IR35). You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of production infrastructure, M365, Azure, SaaS applications, network, and security while managing a Technical Support team and contributing to ICT strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer and optimise M365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, Endpoint Manager, SCCM, and InTune
• Manage the Technical Support team: task allocation, resource planning, and mentoring
• Senior escalation point for complex incidents and infrastructure changes; CAB representative
• Develop PowerShell automation and drive cost controls across Azure and M365
• Maintain security compliance and manage data protection requests

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Deep expertise in Office 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Windows Server
• Production experience (2,000+ users) with SCCM, InTune, and Endpoint Manager
• Team leadership and budget management experience
• ITIL knowledge - certification preferred
• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in a technical subject

This engagement is inside IR35. Candidates must be able to engage via an approved umbrella company.
