Contract PMO Governance & Assurance Lead

Hybrid remote in London (Must be based within commuting distance to central London)

CTC/SC or NPPV3 clearance would be desirable

Up to £440 p/d Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Contract PMO Governance & Assurance Lead to play a critical role within a large complex programme environment.

This position will take ownership of governance, assurance, and Stage-Gate processes, ensuring all workstreams deliver to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and contractual alignment.

You'll act as the authority for delivery governance, providing oversight, driving consistency, and ensuring all outputs meet required standards before acceptance.

Key skills

• CTC/NPPV3/SC cleared ideally but will need to be eligible for CTC and NPPV3 minimum
• Experience in large-scale outsourcing, government, or regulated industries
• Proven experience in a PMO Governance or Assurance leadership role
• Strong background in complex programme environments
• Experience managing Stage-Gate processes and programme controls
• Solid understanding of SLAs, KPIs, milestones, and delivery governance
• Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership

Desirable

• Experience in outsourcing, large-scale transformation, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with commercial and contractual delivery frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, P3O, PMQ, or PMP

The successful candidate must be within commuting distance of central London due to the hybrid remote working model. Ideally, you will hold CTC/NPPV3 clearance.
