Power BI Consultant (Platform/Semantic Models)

Power BI Platform Consultant
London - 4 days onsite/1 day remote
6 Month Contract - Inside IR35

I'm recruiting for an experienced Power BI Platform Consultant to join a global financial services organisation, working 4 days per week onsite in London.

This role falls inside IR35, so you'll be required to work via an umbrella company.

You'll be designing, developing and supporting enterprise-scale Power BI semantic models, with a particular focus on semantic model architecture, automated refresh, dataset partitioning, governance and performance optimisation.

You must have hands-on experience with:

• Enterprise Power BI semantic models
• Advanced DAX, semantic modelling and performance tuning
• VertiPaq, composite models, aggregations and query optimisation
• Incremental Refresh and dataset partitioning
• XMLA Endpoints, Tabular Editor and DAX Studio
• Power BI Service, governance and Row Level Security (RLS)
• Strong SQL and dimensional modelling

Experience with Power BI Premium, Microsoft Fabric, Python or Financial Services/Risk Reporting would be advantageous.
