Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred: Local candidates to Greenville, SC

About the Role

We are seeking a Power Platform Specialist to join our team onsite in Greenville, South Carolina. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level workflow and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-driven apps) and Power Automate, with the ability to build scalable, efficient solutions for complex business processes. This position plays a key role in modernizing workflows and supporting large-scale project environments.

Note: Candidates with primarily SharePoint-only backgrounds will not be a fit. SharePoint experience is considered a plus but is not a substitute for Power Platform expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) applications
  • Build and maintain workflow automation solutions using Power Automate
  • Develop and implement complex workflows for large-scale projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform data modeling and solution design using Dataverse and/or Microsoft SQL
  • Support testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of Power Platform solutions
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to improve business processes and system workflows
  • Maintain documentation, coding standards, and best practices
  • Ensure solutions align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and IT policies
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot workflow and automation issues

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, software development, or workflow automation
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps)
    • Power Automate (workflow automation)
  • Experience developing and deploying complex workflows for enterprise or large-scale projects
  • Working knowledge of data modeling and architecture
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL and/or Dataverse
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within Microsoft 365 / Power Platform ecosystems
  • Familiarity with enterprise environments (EPC, engineering, construction, or similar industries)
  • Experience supporting workflow modernization or digital transformation initiatives
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and data security best practices
