Pricing Analyst

£400 per day (Inside IR35)

Hybrid - 1 day per week in office
This short-term contract offers the opportunity to step into a live pricing programme at a critical execution stage. You will help maintain momentum, take ownership of established models, and support the delivery of a defined pricing strategy through to end-state.
The Company
They are a well-established, consumer-facing organisation operating within the personalised products and e-commerce space. The business is highly data-driven and fast-paced, with pricing central to commercial performance and decision-making. Operating across multiple brands within a broader group structure, teams are used to working collaboratively with senior stakeholders in a complex environment.
The Role and Deliverables
- Take ownership of existing pricing models and analysis, picking up work mid-stream
- Operationalise a defined customer value-based pricing strategy
- Support day-to-day delivery to ensure progress through a key execution phase
- Validate, assess and report on the impact of pricing tests and performance
- Partner closely with a Senior Pricing Analyst and Central Planning to deliver clear outcomes
- Develop practical tools and frameworks to measure impact and enable informed pivots
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience working as a pricing or commercial analyst in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel capability, with confidence interrogating complex pricing models
- Strong SQL skills, including experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
- Comfortable working with incomplete documentation and extracting insight from existing work
- Clear and collaborative communicator, able to operate effectively under pressure
- Experience in retail, e-commerce or consumer-focused businesses is highly desirable
- Exposure to Python or R for analysis or model interrogation is beneficial
