Procurement Analyst

Procurement Analyst | Pontypridd, 3 x per week | £200 - £250 a day inside IR35

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Procurement Analyst to join our team, for some work based in Pontypridd. This role focuses on supporting strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and cost optimisation initiatives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure efficient procurement processes and value for money for our client.

• Analyse purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
• Support sourcing strategies and supplier selection processes
• Monitor supplier performance, including delivery, quality, and pricing
• Prepare reports and dashboards on procurement KPIs
• Assist in contract management and compliance with procurement policies
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast demand and manage budgets
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and industry trends
• Support negotiations with suppliers to achieve best value outcomes

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or analytical roles
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with procurement or ERP systems preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
