(KSU) Procurement Buyer manages the purchasing lifecycle, ensuring compliance with State of Georgia and Board of Regents policies. Responsibilities include reviewing requisitions, issuing RFQs/RFPs, negotiating with vendors, managing contracts, and utilizing PeopleSoft ePro to acquire goods and services efficiently while fostering supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Procurement: Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance; prepare and issue purchase orders, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure all procurement activities align with the State of Georgia, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, and KSU policies.
- Vendor Relations: Identify, evaluate, and develop sources of supply; negotiate contracts and resolve vendor issues.
- System Administration: Administer the PeopleSoft Financials e-Procurement (ePro) system and the University Purchasing Card (P-Card) program.
- Collaboration: Advise campus departments on procurement policies, specifications, and purchasing procedures.
- Contract Management: Manage the Contract Assessment Report (CAR) process and assist in resolving billing discrepancies.
