Product Manager

We're seeking Senior Product Managers for permanent and contract opportunities (3 months initially, with extension potential) on public sector and defence projects. Active SC clearance required.

Location: London (hybrid). Permanent salary: £65,000-£80,000. Contract: £500/day inside IR35.

You'll drive digital product development in demanding environments - working alongside client stakeholders and delivery teams.

This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, helping define direction while tackling real-world delivery challenges like Legacy systems and policy shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Help shape product vision, roadmaps, and focus areas for client projects

• Engage stakeholders to uncover requirements, test hypotheses, and refine problem statements

• Drive daily product activities across cross-functional teams (tech, UX, analytics)

• Convert vague needs into prioritised, executable task lists

• Ensure delivery stays user-centred amid operational rules and compliance demands

• Handle emerging risks, interdependencies, and execution hurdles

• Support internal product practices and methodologies

Essential Experience

• Proven Product Management background, with senior-level exposure

• Track record launching digital services in government, public sector, or defence contexts

• Experience navigating regulated, secure, or high-stakes environments

• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-team collaboration skills

• Practical, delivery-focused mindset-adept at partnering with developers and designers

• Sound decision-making in unclear situations

• Knowledge of GDS principles and service guidelines

• Work in defence, national security, or similar domains

• Consulting background or multi-client project delivery
